CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY
Cranial osteopathy is a subtle treatment and is usually used to treat babies and children. It involves a gentle manipulation of the head and spine to increase comfort.
If a baby is under par, or you feel they are just not quite right, we recommend bringing them to a cranial osteopath. They can be checked as early as 2 to 3 days old.
It is part of the osteopathic physician’s gentle and safe manipulation approach to treatment of a wide range of problems in the whole body.

A cranial osteopath can feel very small fluctuations of movement using gentle pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body. This is known as involuntary movement.
The Osteopath can palpate the cranial rhythmic impulses, also known as the primary respiratory mechanism or the third pulse of the body.

This subtle pressure applied by the osteopathic physicians hands to the body enhances the movement of fluid and energy to that area.
