Each 30 minute treatment is £50

 

At the beginning of the first osteopathic session I will ask about your symptoms, general health and any other medical care you may be receiving before carrying out a physical examination.

The osteopath will use their hands to find out any areas of restriction, weakness, tenderness or strain within the body. With your consent some clothing may have to be removed around the area being examined and you may be asked to perform some simple movements.

We then discuss if osteopathic treatment can help the matter and what the treatment plan involves.

An osteopath is trained to identify when a patient needs to be referred to a G.P or needs further tests, such as MRI scans or blood tests to help diagnose the problem.
